Re: ACCS Convention 2020
ACCS CONVENTION 2020 - 4th, 5th & 6th March, 2020
Great Southern Killarney, East Avenue Road, Town Centre, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
In accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of ACCS, copies of the Draft Agenda and Motions for Convention 2020 are enclosed. Amendments to these Motions must be returned to ACCS by the 4th February, 2020.

Please ensure that your accommodation is booked as part of your school’s delegation.
CONVENTION SCHEDULE: ACCS advises that registration for Convention 2020 will commence from 3.00 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. on Wednesday 4th March, 2020. Please note Convention will commence at 3.45 p.m. on Wednesday the 4th March, 2020 and will conclude on Friday the 6th March at 12.30 p.m.
REGISTERING OF ACCS DELEGATES ON SCHOOL ONLINE PORTAL:
It would be appreciated if Boards would now notify ACCS of the names of their delegates in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of ACCS. Every member school shall have three accredited delegates and only delegates in attendance may vote. It is the recommendation of the ACCS Executive that one of the accredited delegates be the Chairperson of the Board of Management. To access the school portal log on to https://www.accscloud.net. You will require your Username (last 4 digits of the main school phone number) and password and a maths captcha to login.
CONVENTION FEE: The Executive has decided that a fee of €300.00 per school would be appropriate to cover the cost of Convention only. All other costs will be at the delegates' own expense. It would be appreciated if remittance for this amount of €300.00 could be forwarded to ACCS before Convention date. ACCOMMODATION: As in former years, delegates will be responsible for securing their own accommodation and meals. Accommodation will be assigned by the Great Southern Killarney on a first come first served basis. When all rooms are allocated in the Great Southern Killarney, delegates will be informed, their booking form will be forwarded to the Killarney Royal Hotel and a confirmation reservation will be issued by the Great Southern Killarney. A credit card number will be required by the Hotel to secure booking. Please provide full credit card details on the accommodation form. Documentation for delegates and booking forms are enclosed.
GOLF OUTING: The ACCS annual golf outing for the Paddy Hickey Memorial Trophy has been arranged on Wednesday, 4th March, 2020 - see separate documentation enclosed.
