Áine O’Sullivan
General Secretary

Áine O’Sullivan is the General Secretary of the ACCS. As General Secretary she manages the Association on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Executive, having been Assistant General Secretary for seven years. She is seconded from the position of Principal of Ashbourne Community School and was involved in LDS (Leadership Development in Schools) for several years and has a particular interest in student voice and school patronage.

Paul Thornton
Assistant General Secretary

Paul Thornton is the Assistant General Secretary of the ACCS. He assists the General Secretary in managing the Association and is seconded from the position of Principal of Tullow Community School.  He was Regional Development Officer with the National Behaviour Support Service (NBSS) for several years.

Anne Marie DIllon
Director of Human Resources

Anne Marie Dillon is Director of Human Resources. Anne Marie works with school management and other stakeholders in area of staff relations and human resources. Anne Marie has considerable expertise in this area having specialised in this area both in the public and private sector.

Catherine O’Sullivan
Director of ACCS/JMB Further Education Support Unit

Catherine O’ Sullivan is the Director of Further Education in ACCS. She works with schools in the areas of Further and Adult Education, providing supports and guidance in this area. She also works with schools in the JMB to support Further Education.

Hilary Treacy
Legal and Data Protection Advisor

Hilary Treacy is the legal and GDPR advisor to the Association. Hilary works with schools around education legislation and good practice in the area of GDPR.

Jim Twohig
ACCS School Building Projects Advisor

Debbie Riordan
Senior Administrator

Debbie Riordan is the senior Administrator in the ACCS office. She manages Head Office and is key to the administration functions of the Association.

Elaine Mooney
Administrative Officer

Elaine Mooney is an Administrative Officer in Head Office with responsibility for Garda Vetting and ACCS publications.

Early Learning & Care Programme Manager 

Jessica O’Malley
Clerical Officer

Jessica O’ Malley is a Clerical Officer in Head Office who assists particularly in the running of the numerous training and in-service events throughout the year.

David Cahill
Web and IT Support Officer

David Cahill is the Web and IT Support Officer for the ACCS and works in Head Office.
