Re: Payroll Closing Dates
The following important information has been received from the Department of Education and Skills Payroll Section.
As you will be aware PAYE modernisation is being introduced from the 1st January, 2019. This has been a massive project to implement for the Department payrolls. In addition to PAYE Modernisation, Additional Superannuation Contributions (ASC) is being introduced from the 1st January together with budget changes. Accordingly, the payroll closing dates for claims on the OLCS have to be changed.
The end of year closing dates for the Post Primary Payrolls are as follows:
The post primary payroll for payment on Thursday 20th December is closing tomorrow Wednesday 5th December. All outstanding substitute claims should be entered by tomorrow.
The next post primary payroll is for payment on the 3rd January 2019 and the closing date is Friday 14th December. All substitute claims from the 6th December to the 14th should be entered by the 14th December.
