Extension of closing date for return of SECRETARIES’ SURVEY - 26th June 2024
The following information regarding Extension of closing date for return of SECRETARIES’ SURVEY has been received from External Staff Relations.
Thank you to all schools who have already completed the Secretaries’ Survey. The purpose of this survey is to give secretaries who opted-out of the agreement referenced in Circular 0036/2022, a further chance to now accept it and to come on to the Department’s payroll from September 2024.
Whilst there has been a very good response to date, we are aware that there are a significant number of schools who still have to complete the survey. Therefore, it has been decided to extend the closing date of the survey from today, 21st June to 5pm next Wednesday, 26th June 2024.
Please note that due to the large amount of work involved in onboarding secretaries to payroll, it will not be possible to further extend this closing date and to also ensure that secretaries (who opt to do) so will be onboarded from September 2024.
Secretaries who remain opted-out will be given another opportunity to accept the terms of Circular 0036/2022 and onboard to the Department’s payroll before the start of the 2025/2026 school year.
