Risk Management - Good Governance

In 2013, the Association of Community and Comprehensive Schools (ACCS) published a ‘Good Governance Guide on Risk Management in Community and Comprehensive Schools’. This publication aims to provide the Boards of Community and Comprehensive schools with a model of best practice in risk management by the application of good governance principles and is supported by best practice models in the national and international context. The Good Governance Guide introduces the Boards of Community and Comprehensive schools to the concept of managing risk, and contains practical advice and useful templates to guide schools to systematically identify, evaluate and treat such risks.
