Dear Secretary,
Please note the attached ACCS/Info Bulletin 18/24 Re: SPHE Clarification points on “confidentiality within the SPHE classroom” for parents. (Compiled by the NCCA)
As you'll be aware some recent queries and the 'whistleblower' video referred to confidentiality within the SPHE classroom and suggested that students are discouraged from talking to their parents about their learning in SPHE. The NCCA has compiled some points which are in the attached Information Bulletin 18/24. These should be read in conjunction with the previous SPHE Information Bulletin 15/24 (attached). Schools may find the information helpful in providing clarification to parents/guardians and members of staff.
