The Middle Leadership Team Distributed Leadership: Embedding Effective Leadership Practices in Schools

ACCS would like to invite members of the Middle Leaders’ Cohort One, Two, Three, and Four schools to a webinar on Thursday, September 19th, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. This event continues our Middle Leadership series and is a component of the ongoing program that began with Cohort 1 in 2018/2019, followed by Cohort 2 in 2019/2022, Cohort 3 in 2022/2023, and Cohort 4 in 2023/2024.

Objectives:
The webinar is tailored for schools that have completed the ACCS Middle Leaders Residential Programme. It provides an opportunity for these teams to reconnect, exchange experiences, and discuss effective leadership practices in schools.

On e evening of September 19th, school teams that have engaged in the Middle Leadership Programme with ACCS over the last few years will share their school projects and will discuss their learnings, challenges, and experiences of implementing change in their school communities, as a result of and using the Middle Leadership model. This will be an informal event and there will be time set aside for Q&A and for participants to share their own observations on the work being completed in their own schools as a result of engaging in the programme.

This initiative focuses on collaborative team efforts in leadership practices, benefiting from diverse perspectives during discussions. Teams should include senior and middle leaders who will relay their insights to the broader school community. Please note, teams may have evolved since the in-person program, and we recommend schools decide who should attend this webinar. Up to five team members with leadership and management responsibilities at the API, APII, and SLT levels are welcome.
