REMINDER - Invitation to attend ACCS ICT Conference – Harnessing the Digital Transition Across Community & Comprehensive Schools

ACCS is delighted to host this in-person event which will offer schools an opportunity to share best practice and to explore how the newly revised Digital Strategy for Schools to 2027 builds on the work pioneered in recent years, to embed digital technologies in schools. Following the recent ACCS ICT Survey, the day is designed in three parts to include workshops on various topics, panel discussion, and whole group discussions.

Panel and Whole Group Discussion. This discussion will be linked closely to the topics explored in the workshops and will also focus on infrastructure planning and procurement.  Special Guest, Michael Hallisey, H2 Learning will discuss the place of blended learning in ‘helping all students to learn at a pace, in a place and at times that better suit them’.

Deliberations will include observations on how digital tools can assist in supporting teachers and students in the learning experience freeing up time, enhancing inclusion, monitoring learning, and helping to create more independent learners. Good teaching hasn’t changed but in schools where digital tools are used effectively, classroom dynamics are considerably different.
