Invitation for Staff to attend an ACCS/Microsoft Webinar on creating an inclusive classroom with Office 365.

ACCS is delighted to host a 60-minute webinar on January 20th at 1.00 p.m. which will focus on the assistive technologies within Office 365. This session will be delivered by Karen Burke, who is a teacher with a deep understanding of using Educational Technology to improve student and teacher outcomes.

Session Overview:

The diversity of learning needs demands school systems provide inclusive, accessible learning environments that inspire confidence and encourage independence differently for each student. Learn about how to create a personalized and engaging learning experience for all of your students through the use of Immersive Reader, Dictate, In built supports for ESOL students, maths supports for students and the use of Office Lens.

 Speaker:

Karen Burke is the Customer Service Manager in Microsoft Education Ireland in that role she supports the development and training to allow for the development of successful digital strategies in educational institutions. She is an MIE Master Trainer and specialises in the use the use of Office 365 as a platform for Teaching & Learning with a particular focus on Microsoft Teams & OneNote. Karen is an educator with more than 10 years’ experience in UK and Ireland and has previously worked in one of Microsoft Showcase Schools.
