Following on from discussions at yesterday’s briefing and due to the low level of demand, we have made the decision not to go ahead with the scheduled in-person training in various hotels around the country next month – See cancelled dates & venues below. 

• Connacht: 03/10/22 6.30pm – 9.00pm, Clayton Hotel Galway - CANCELLED

• Munster: 04/10/22 6.30pm – 9.00pm, Dunraven Arms Hotel - CANCELLED 

• Ulster: 06/10/22 6.30pm – 9.00pm, Radisson Blu, Letterkenny - CANCELLED

• Dublin: 17/10/22 6.30pm – 9.00pm, Clayton Liffey Valley - CANCELLED

• Leinster: 18/10/22 6.30pm – 9.00pm, Midlands Park Hotel, Laois - CANCELLED

It has been brought to our attention that our schools prefer an individualised approach and there have been significant numbers of queries in this regard over the last two weeks. ACCS has trained a team of regional trainers who will work with individual schools going forward. 

Any Board interested in accessing individual or shared training (where one or more Boards come together) should email Sarahlynn Byrne sbyrne@accs.ie in Head Office. This email will be forwarded to the regional team of trainers who will contact the school directly to agree a mutually suitable time and date for training to take place. Slides and information packs will be made available on the evening of the training to all members of the Board. 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the change to our CPD programme, we hope that the individualised approach to Board of Management training will be more suitable.
