ACCS/Microsoft Webinar Wednesday 3rd February
Invitation for Staff to attend an ACCS/Microsoft Webinar on Resources available on MS365 for schools managing remote learning, part 2/advanced (a teachers’ guide). Wednesday 3rd February 4.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.
ACCS is delighted to host a 60-minute webinar on February 3rd at 4.00 p.m. which will be focused on helping you to teach more effectively remotely, saving you time and making your classroom more inclusive for your students.
This is a hands-on session, showcasing how to use Office 365 to engage students remotely. This session is suitable for all levels of expertise. This session will be delivered by Stephen Eustace and Karen Burke who are both teachers with a deep understanding of using Educational Technology to improve student and teacher outcomes.
Session Overview:
This session will demonstrate how to teach remotely using tools like Microsoft Teams, OneNote and Forms. Practical tips on remote teaching such as how to effectively engage students using Teams, screen sharing and OneNote (teacher’s whiteboard).
This session will look at how to get the most from digital inking for class instruction and for giving personalised feedback and preparing students to be future ready. This session will show you easy ways to engage with assessment in Office 365.
This session will be packed full of real-world examples delivered by teachers for teachers.
Speakers:
Stephen Eustace is an educator who is passionate about the impactful and meaningful use of Educational Technology in the classroom. Stephen is currently working with Microsoft Ireland supporting teachers using technology in education. Stephen is an advocate of technologies and techniques that:
• Promote and support student and teacher wellbeing
• Drive inclusive classroom practices
• Encourage and facilitate active teaching and learning
• Amplify and harness student voice
Karen Burke is an MIE Master Trainer and specialises in the use the use of Office 365 as a platform for Teaching & Learning with a particular focus on Microsoft Teams & OneNote. Karen is an educator with more than 10 years’ experience in UK and Ireland and has previously worked in one of Microsoft Showcase Schools.
