ACCS Education Conference and Launch of The Student Voice Journal

Invitation to ACCS Education Conference and Launch of The Student Voice Journal on Wednesday 12th May 2021, 1.00 p.m. – 3.30 p.m.

The ACCS Education Conference will take place on Wednesday 12th May 2021, on the Zoom platform from 1.00 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. and will focus on Student Voice in schools. (Agenda attached)

We are delighted to welcome keynote speaker Professor Laura Lundy, Co-Director of the Centre for Children's Rights and Professor in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work at Queen's University Belfast to address participants on “The Lundy Model”. Professor Lundy will also formally launch the Student Voice Journal (in association with the NCCA).  

During the Conference participants will be allocated to breakout rooms which will be hosted by students and staff from Community & Comprehensive Schools, who will share their experiences to date of Student Voice work in their own school community and context.

Delegate Registration:

Schools are requested to complete the attached booking form and return to Eileen Diver ediver@accs.ie before close of business on Monday the 10th May.

ACCS will register participants on the Zoom portal using the email address provided on the booking form.

Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email from ACCS no-reply@zoom.us, containing a link and passcode to join the Conference.

You must use the same email address supplied on the booking form to access the webinar.

Note: Participant numbers are limited to two staff members attending per school.
