The ACCS SEN Sub-Committee hosts a series of 90-minute webinars throughout the school year. These are designed to support schools in managing and leading the SEN process at school level. These provide an opportunity for school personnel with responsibility for SEN to network and share good practices. The Sub-Committee with responsibility for this work is chaired by Brenda Kelly (ACCS Executive) and the group meets regularly throughout the school year to plan and agree the choice of topics for inclusion in each webinar. A Microsoft TEAMS forum supports the work, the sharing of resources and facilitates networking between participants. Inputs from the NCSE, PDST, the DE Inspectorate are included where possible and relevant in the series.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? School leaders and personnel managing SEN at school level. E.g., Principal, Deputy Principal(s), SEN/Inclusion Coordinator.
