ICT Conference – Harnessing the Digital Transition Across Community & Comprehensive Schools
The Digital Strategy for Schools 2022-27 seeks to advance the embedding of digital technologies across teaching, learning and assessment, building on the work under previous strategies. It aims to further support the school system so that all students across our schools have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills they need to navigate an ever-evolving digital world successfully. During the Covid-19 pandemic, when school communities were faced with significant challenges, and adopted digital technologies across all learning experiences. It is vital that these experiences are built upon for the future.
Objectives:
In June 2022, the ICT Sub-Committee completed a survey of C&C schools to establish the main areas of interest for schools at this time. Presentations and concurrent workshops on the day will reflect the following priorities:
Developing the Digital Learning Plan & SSE
Procurement/Infrastructure
Managing data/GDPR in the online space
Assessment and Reporting
Online safety
Teaching and Learning
Adult Education and Lifelong learning
