Reminders for Delegates
Please see below a number of reminders relating to the ACCS Convention in the Galmont Hotel & Spa, Lough Atalia Road, Galway on the 13th, 14th & 15th of March 2024. Attached is a copy of the final agenda for your information.
Accommodation in The Galmont Hotel:
A limited number of rooms have recently become available at the Galmont Hotel. Should you require accommodation, please complete the attached accommodation booking form and submit by email to reservations@thegalmont.com no later than close of business on Thursday the 29th of February. Please note that any unreserved rooms remaining after this date will be released for public sale.
Hotel Cancellation Policy: Delegates are reminded that bedrooms cancelled within 7 days of arrival date or no shows on the day will be subject to full B&B charges for nights booked.
Name Badges – Registration of Delegates:
To facilitate the printing of name badges, we kindly request that Boards notify ACCS of the names of their delegates in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of ACCS. Every member school shall have three accredited delegates and only delegates in attendance may vote. Each member Board shall be entitled to be represented by two Board members and the Principal (or Acting Principal) of the school. It is the recommendation of the ACCS Executive that one of the accredited delegates be the Chairperson of the Board of Management. To access the school portal, log on to https://www.accscloud.net or click on “ACCS portal” on the home page of www.accs.ie. You will require your Username (last 4 digits of the main school phone number) and Password and a math’s captcha to login. Please contact ACCS Head Office if you require assistance.
Non-Resident Delegates:
To assist with catering requirements, we kindly ask that non-resident delegates requiring meals notify ACCS by completing the attached Non-Resident Meals Package Form and returning it to office@accs.ie.
Golfers:
For the convenience of our organising committee, please complete the attached golf booking form by Friday, the 1st of March 2024, if you plan on participating in the golfing event. Email the completed form to Dermot Healy, Principal, Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine, Kenmare, Co. Kerry, at dhealy@kenmarecs.com.
