Information Note

CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory (CIT BCO) extend an invitation to join them on March 7th, 2019 for Athlone’s first ever Space Careers Roadshow!

Suited to students from Transition Year through to Leaving Cert, this event showcases the diversity of careers on offer in the Space Industry.

Students will hear directly from experts who have worked on projects with NASA, ESA and on the International Space Station, as well as leaders in the Irish Space Industry. This event is an invaluable opportunity for students to engage with space industry professionals, and third level institutions, so that they can get a taste of the exciting opportunities that a STEM career in Space has to offer. This event comes on the heels of the announcement that the European Space Agency is contracting AIT to develop large-scale, zero gravity, 3D printing technology for the International Space Station. Hear all about this exciting development and more!

Participation is free, and places can be booked via the following link.

Further details of the event are available here.
