The ACCS Annual Education Conference is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26th April 2023 and is being hosted by Glenamaddy Community School, Co. Galway. An invitation will issue to all schools after the Easter holidays.

The Conference is focusing on theme of creativity in our schools this year. This Conference is an opportunity for us to gather, learn, and share with one another and to showcase the amazing creativity which is abundant in our schools. The ACCS Education Conference 2023 is a festival of learning and a great opportunity to share best practice in a school setting.

The draft agenda is set out below: 

·       9.30-10.00   Registration

·       10.00-10.15 Welcome and introduction

·       10.15-12.00 Exploring the creative spaces in our schools

·       12.00-1.00   Lunch

·       1.00-3.00     Showcase Display event

In preparation for this event, ACCS would like to hear from schools who would like to showcase their creativity at this gathering in Galway. There will be an opportunity to showcase creativity in various ways, e.g., Junk Kouture, Poetry Aloud, Art displays, Robotics, Music, Dance, Wood, Metal, Home Economics Project displays etc. and all schools who express an interest will be involved.

ACCS will be commencing arrangements for the event with the school regarding numbers and spaces required over the coming days.  Thank you to all schools who have already expressed an interest in bringing along students or/and zooming into the event to showcase your creativity from your own school.
