REMINDER: Invitation to Webinar on "Teaching & Learning in the Junior Cycle Classroom" - Tuesday 23rd January from 4.00pm to 5.00pm

The ACCS Education Sub-Committee invites you to attend a follow-up webinar which was originally scheduled for tomorrow, 16th January 2024, but is now rescheduled to the 23rd of January from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. This webinar will focus on:

·    Looking at success criteria including Formative Assessment.

·    Preparing for the subject coordinator’s meeting with the Inspector at subject inspection – sharing experiences, what to expect.

There will be an opportunity for schools to explore and to share useful resources. We will also host a Q&A/discussion session towards the end of webinar.

This webinar, similar to the December webinar, is designed as a support to schools and will focus on teaching and learning in the Junior Cycle classroom. Both webinars are rooted in the learnings from the recent Inspector composite report on Junior Cycle Inspections carried out in April and May 2023.

Who should attend?

School leaders and personnel leading subject planning and coordination at school level. E.g., Principal, Deputy Principal(s),Subject Coordinators and Teachers.
